Hartford Virtual Office

A Virtual Office starts with a local or toll free telephone number.
Now you're in business…barely.

Customers and prospects can call your Hartford Virtual Office number and leave a message. But, customers don't call a business to leave a message. They call to speak with someone, now.

By adding “Find Me – Follow Me” your Hartford Virtual Office will call you, at any number, and connect your callers to you, live. And with optional free Call Screening, you'll decide which calls to take, and which to send to voice mail.

New: Callers can listen to Your Company's “On-Hold” Message, while they wait to be transferred.

You can sound even bigger, when your Hartford Virtual Office answers with an Auto Attendant. Callers might hear “Thank you for calling [your company]. If you know the extension number of the person you're calling, you may enter it at any time. For Sales press 1, Technical Support press 2, Billing press 3, etc. or Press 9 for the Dial by Name Directory”, even though all calls and departments are transferred to you!

When you don't take calls live, callers can leave a voice mail message. Each person and department can have their own private voice mailbox. Your Hartford Virtual Office can then call you and deliver the message to you and send the message to your email, so you can hear it over your computer, or any Internet device. You can also be notified by pager.

That's great, but you're still not done. Every business needs to be able to receive Faxes. Your Hartford Virtual Office number can be set to automatically receive faxes, or you can add a separate number for faxes only. Faxes are delivered to your email, where they can be viewed, printed, forwarded, saved or discarded.

Hartford is sometimes referred to as the "insurance capital of the world," Hartford houses many of the world's insurance company headquarters, and insurance is one of the region's major industries. The region has a relatively low population of adults between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five, although Hartford itself has a relatively young population. After Dutch explorer Adriaen Block visited the area in sixteen fourteen, fur traders from the New Netherland colony set up trade at Fort Goede Hoop at the confluence of the Connecticut River and the Park River as early as sixteen twenty-three, but abandoned their post by sixteen fifty-four. The neighborhood near the site is still known as Dutch Point. The first English settlers arrived in sixteen thirty-five. The settlement was originally called Newtown, but was renamed, Hartford in sixteen thirty-seven. One theory about the origins of the name "Hartford" was to honor the English town of Hertford. Hartford lies in the Humid Continental climate zone. Summers are typically warm to hot and muggy, while winters are typically cold with frequent snowfall. The average annual precipitation is around forty-four inches, which is distributed fairly evenly throughout the year. Hartford typically receives about forty-eight inches of snow in an average winter; the record seasonal snowfall was one hundred fifteen point two inches in nineteen ninety-six. The first snowfall typically occurs in mid to late November and the last snow of the season usually occurs in late March, although accumulating snow has occurred as early as late September and as late as mid-May in extreme events. Hartford's neighborhoods are a diverse and historic lot. Downtown Hartford is the location of the central business district. Parkville is named for the confluence of the north and the south branches of the Park River; it is home to Real Art Ways. Frog Hollow is home to Pope Park. Asylum Hill is a residential area and the location of the headquarters of several insurance companies. The West End is home to the Mark Twain House and the Governor's residence. Sheldon/Charter Oak is the location of the historic Charter Oak monument and the former Colt factory. The North East neighborhood is home to Keney Park. The South End is home to the city's "Little Italy". The South Green is host to Hartford Hospital. The South Meadows is the site of Hartford-Brainard Airport and Hartford's industrial park. The North Meadows has several car dealerships and is the location of the Dodge Music Center.
